   The Kodak Prosper Press Platform using Kodak's revolutionary Stream Inkjet Technology has two presses (up to now): Kodak Prosper 1000 - a compact monochrome press and Kodak Prosper 5000XL - a full process color production press. Both machines offer perfecting with a print width of up to 62.23 centimeters (24.5 inches) at speeds up to 200 meters per minute (650 feet per minute) making it the most productive inkjet web press for 8, 12 and 16 page signatures with a duty cycle of 120 million A4 or US letter pages a month.

  The Kodak Prosper Press platform, with its automated Image Quality Management System is capable of print quality that rivals offset output up to 133 lpi (Prosper 1000) and 175 lpi (Prosper 5000XL) for on uncoated, coated, and glossy papers ranging from 45 to 175 (Prosper 1000) or to 300 (Prosper 5000XL) grams per square meter or 30 to 120 (Prosper 1000) or to 200 (Prosper 5000XL) pound text weight. The Kodak Prosper 1000 Press is field upgradable to color. These robust and high performance inkjet web presses help customers differentiate themselves and drive profitability by delivering quality, productivity and lower Total cost of operations for short run color books up to 7000 (Prosper 1000) or even 4000 (Prosper 5000XL), including returns and obsolescence, fully customized direct mail, versioned catalog, magazines and insert applications.
